Helicopter Crashes at Airbase at Perth Airport
A helicopter crashed at the Perth airport in Scotland during the takeoff this morning. An image of the scene and shows the helicopter sideways and very damaged with people in the scene, looking at what happened. The helicopter landed at the base of the Scotland Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) at the airport.
Connor Wonjtowicz, who lives near the scene, said in his local newspaper: “I was sitting in my room, which is 150 feet from where the helicopter fell.
“I heard it take off and it did not sound good, then there was a big bang.” He went to the scene with his brother and described seeing a wrinkled tail and fuel dripping on the ground. It is believed that the helicopter is used for training purposes and is not one of the aerial ambulances, which are predominantly yellow.
